Bond, who has been assigned by M to investigate the mysterious disappearance of the head of the MI6 station in Jamaica, had been looking forward to a holiday in the sun. But when he discovers a deadly centipede in his hotel room, the holiday is over.

On this island, all suspicious activity inevitably leads to Dr Julius No, a reclusive megalomaniac with steel pincers for hands. To find out what the good doctor is hiding, 007 must enlist the help of local fisherman Quarrel and seductive sandpiper Honeychile Rider. Together, they battle a local legend dubbed “the Dragon” by the locals before Bond must face the toughest test of all alone: an obstacle course designed by the sadistic Dr. No himself that tests the limits of human capacity for suffering.
