Flamingos / Marc Savage

Former convicts and crooks, handsome black Elvis Mahoney (his father once sold the King a Caddy) and greying hippie Del Rebus, come to Phoenix, Arizona with big plans and a small purse. There’s also ageing gangster Joseph Scorcese, who is recovering with his son Paul, a bar owner, from a botched hit in New York City that may have been organised by another son. Elvis and Del, who have unwittingly involved the old man in a dog racing investment scheme, get into big trouble, at least with part of Scorcese’s family.
